Our story
I struggled with anxiety and depression for years until I found tea. I wanted something more natural than traditional medicine that could help manage my symptoms. After having another one of my panic attacks, I took my first sip of ayurvedic tea in 2020 that contained Ashwagandha. For the first time in years, my mind was quiet and I could finally be in the moment. In conjunction to tea, I took walks and laid in the grass, most times next to water to feel the calming effects of nature. I dug up my old hobbies and even discovered new hobbies along the way. I mainly kept to myself because of my mental state, but I slowly started to surround myself with like-minded, positive people. I finally felt connected to something greater than my depression and anxiety.
This brings me 2022 when I had an idea to bring all of this together and share my tools with anyone who’s in need. I want everyone to experience the healing effects of tea, be in a space that makes you feel welcomed and relaxed, and offer a way to connect with like-minded individuals. Thus, the beginning of “It’s Tea Time”
Caring for your mental health can be difficult, but with the right tools, you’ll be in a better place to know how to pick yourself back up.
Give yourself grace and sip on!
Sending you love and healing,
